To configure the Public Assessment URL it may be easier to configure in Salesforce classic so at this time you will make that switch.
You will then want to navigate to Setup
by clicking the button.
On this page, you will need to enter in Site
into the Quick Find/ Search Box
. This box is located on the left side of the screen. Under the Develop section, you will see Sites
and click on it.
On this page, there will be an open text box where you are able to enter in and create your Force.com domain. It is recommended that it is the same as your original one for continuity sake. After entering the desired input you will click the Check Availability button and if it is available it will be generated.
Now that you have generated a Force.com domain you are able to create a Public Site. To create a new Public Site you will click on New.
This will bring you to a screen where you are able to create a Site label. This can be whatever you desire it to be, for example, it could be Survey, Assess, Customer, or whatever you see fits the public site that you are creating.
You will also be able to create a default web address for this public site and that can be customized how you see fit.
Other fields that may be checked or filled in will consist of Active with a checkbox next to it, you will want to click that to be checked.
Then in the Active Site Home page text box, you will want to click the magnifying glass next to the empty text box in order to search for PublicAssessmentPage
and select it.
You will also select the ClickJack Level of Protection and set it to Allow framing by any page
After you have filled out all the respective field you will then click Save
Normally after you click save you get to be done but there is still one additional step to confirm that your public assessment URL will be properly working once you start associating assessments with it. We must still add two Visual Force pages to this site.
To add the visual force pages to the site you will scroll down until you see the Site Visualforce Pages section where you will click New. From here you will select ExAM.AMAndAnswerCreationPage and ExAM.AMPublicAssessmentHome and move them over to the right box and click Save.
You have now successfully configured you public assessment site page.
