Setting up and Individualized Assessment

Creating an individualized assessment using assignment generator number of Records (Option 1)

Uses: The purpose of an individualized URL survey is to be able to distribute an individual URL to the assessment to specific people or organization, which can be used to track where, or who the answers on that assessment have come from.

Example: An example of a time that you would utilize an individualized URL survey is in the instance where you are wanting to send out a feedback survey. So in the scenario, you are wanting to send out 10 surveys to 10 different people and all of these people will be giving feedback on the same product.

So by this point, you should have basic knowledge on how to create an assessment and in order to distribute an individualized assessment, you must first create that assessment.

Now that you have your assessment that you would like to distribute to your contacts you are going to want to navigate to the Assessment Development Wizard tab.

Once you are on this tab you are going to click on the Assignment Generator tab.

On this page, you will select the desired assessment template that you are wanting to distribute. You will also choose an accessible object as well as a record. The important part is that you put the amount of or surveys that you are wanting to distribute in the No of records section. For example, you might want to create 10 individual links for this survey to distribute to 10 different customers. So you would enter 10 in this space. And click Save.

Now you will need to navigate to the Public Assessment Tab which can be found in the drop-down tabs on the top right of the page.

Once on the Public Assessment homepage, you will need to click the Go! button to view all (at this point you should only have one here so it should be easy to find).

You will now see 10 new public assessments have been generated and each will have an individualized URL that can be found under the Public Assessment URL column.

Now that you have the URL you can distribute them accordingly while keeping track of who received which link, thus allowing you to know what each individual organization or customer has answered.
 

Creating an individualized survey by creating groups (Option 2)

Uses: The purpose of an individualized survey is to be able to distribute an individual URL to the assessment, which can be used to track where, or who the answers on that assessment have come from.

Example: An Example of when you would generate a group in order to distribute individualized assessments if you had 10 students and evaluating all of them on the same criteria you would create a group that includes all assessable object records and this will assess all records.

So by this point, you should have basic knowledge on how to create an assessment and in order to distribute an individualized assessment, you must first create that assessment. 

Then you are going to want to create a group that consists of the groups/people you are wanting to distribute this survey too. To do this you are going to navigate to the Group manager tab on the Assessment Development Wizard

Here you will select an object for the group, for example, Contact. And you will give this group a name (ex. Test contact group) and you will click Save.

Then in the Manage Assessment Group box, you will want to select the group that you had just made.

You will then click on the All button under the Add Records to the Assessment Group section. This will display the records that are currently under the Contacts tab. It is important to remember that you must have Contacts saved if you want records to be displayed here.

After you have clicked the All button the display will look like what is below. Here you will check the boxes of the contacts you would like to be included in this group and then click the Select Records button at the bottom of the pop-up window.

It is important that after that window disappears that you click the Save selected records to Assessment Group button at the bottom of this page.

Now that you have created a group and you have an assessment that you would like to distribute you are going to want to navigate to the Assessment Development Wizard tab.

Once you are on this tab you are going to click on the Assignment Generator tab.

On this page, you will select the desired assessment template that you want to distribute. You will also choose an accessible object as well as a record. You will then want to select Assessment Group, which will prompt you to select which assessment group and you will select the desired group. Then you will click the Save button at the bottom

Now you will need to navigate to the Public Assessment Tab which can be found in the drop-down tabs on the top right of the page.

Once on the Public Assessment home page, you will need to click the Go! button to view all (at this point you should only have one here so it should be easy to find).

Here you will now see the public assessment that has been generated from the group and their respective URL.

Now that you have the URL you can distribute them accordingly while keeping track of who received which link, thus allowing you to know what each individual organization or customer has answered.
